Poster Boy (Theta Alpha Gamma #5) by Anne Tenino

I have been loving the Theta Alpha Gamma series from Anne Tenino.  All of her books are awesome but the TAG series is the funniest of all of her works.  The boys of TAG have taken the idea of brotherhood and run with it.  They are all about being inclusive and (sometimes overly) supportive of their brothers.  Check out the cover and Goodreads blurb:

It's all fun and games until someone puts his heart out.

After being outed to his hockey team and then changing schools, Jock figures he’s due for something good—like the sex he missed out on in the closet. Toby, the hot grad student he meets at a frat party, seems like a great place to start, and their night together is an awesome introduction to the fine art of hooking up.

Toby’s heart takes a bruising after the near-perfect experience with Jock leads to . . . nothing. He’s been left on the outside as his friends pair up into blissful coupledom, and he’s in danger of never completing (or starting) his thesis. Can’t something go right?

Then Toby’s coerced into chaperoning a Theta Alpha Gamma trip to France. Not that he’s complaining. What better place to finish his thesis and get over that frat boy? Except Jock’s outing is leaked to the press, turning him into an unwilling gay rights martyr, and he decides France would be a great escape, too. It’s a break from reality for both guys, but they soon find their connection is as real as it gets.
I did not really like Toby through the first few books because he just comes off as so abrasive. I felt like Toby was very selfish and maybe even terribly uncaring. Seeing Toby with Jock... it really opened me up to him. It really opened a window into his character. I appreciated that. Really.  Toby is really sweet on the inside and it was great to see that.  He is so hurt by Jock leaving him all alone but he doesn't realize how deep of a mark he's left on Jock.  The two of them need to really just figure it all out together.  They may get their happily ever after in the end but it won't be easy or pretty to find.  What a sweet and funny M/M book!

Good Boy (Theta Alpha Gamma #4) by Anne Tenino

I loved reading Brad and Sebastian's story and was super excited to see that the author had revisited the boys with Good Boy.  I received this book through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.  Here's the cover and the Goodreads blurb:

Brad “Frat Boy” Feller and Sebastian “Toppy” DeWitt have been together for nine months, and their relationship is as hot as ever. The only cloud Brad sees on their horizon is Sebastian’s stress over his thesis. And their uncertain future together after graduation. And how Sebastian sometimes takes Brad for granted. And Sebastian’s unwillingness to introduce Brad to his father.

Other than that, everything’s awesome.

All of Sebastian’s energy is currently devoted to his thesis, and getting into a top-notch PhD program. Fortunately, his boyfriend takes care of all the domestic stuff and Sebastian’s needs. Any minor strain between them will disappear and they’ll return to the status quo after Sebastian graduates. As long as nothing upsets their delicate balance in the meantime.

Then a friend Brad once had a small fling with is forced to take refuge with them, and Frat Boy and Toppy’s delicate balance topples like an elephant on a water ski. Now Sebastian has to face some truths about how he’s been treating Brad, what he wants for their future, and what he has to do to get it.
This short looks at what we didn't see in book three when the house burns and the brothers have to find temporary places to live and Collin ends up with Brad then leaves.  Collin's book didn't let us see what happened between Sebastian and Brad after Collin leaves.  Sebastian has always been something of a selfish ass and Brad has always been adorably giving.  He is the giver and Sebastian is the taker in their relationship.  The argument when Collin comes over leads to Sebastian having to take a break in his work on his thesis to really look at how he treats Brad.  He takes Brad for granted and he isn't treating him well enough.  Brad does everything to support Sebastian and all he expects in return is love and appreciation.  Sebastian decides that he needs to see to Brad's needs and not just his own.  He gets Brad a pretty pricey gift with some help from his dad to make sure that everyone knows that he is Brad's and Brad is his.  It's kind of adorable to watch Sebastian realize how much of an ass he has been.  It happens in relationships all the time where one or both of the parties doesn't feel appreciated.  I am so glad to see that the boys can re-evaluate and put in the effort to keep things together.  What an awesome little story!

You can click here to find Good Boy on Goodreads.  You can find more about Anne Tenino and her writing on her website.  I give Good Boy 4 Fairies for a cute and realistic look at how to make a relationship work.

Sweet Young Thang (Theta Alpha Gamma #3) by Anne Tenino

I've said it before and I'll say it again: I really enjoy reading things from Riptide Publishing.  Author Anne Tenino from Riptide is becoming one of my favorite romance authors.  Her work is so sweet, fun and realistic!  Love it!  Here is the cover and Goodreads blurb for her latest book in the Theta Alpha Gamma series:

Thanks to Collin Montes, Theta Alpha Gamma now welcomes gay and bisexual students. Persuading his Uncle Monty, president of the TAG Alumni Association, that the open approach won’t adversely affect TAG’s reputation is Collin’s own first step toward coming out. As long as there are no repercussions, he’ll escape the closet by graduation.

Enter repercussions, stage left: someone rigs the TAG House water heater to launch through the ceiling, then plants a bomb—thankfully unsuccessful—in the fraternity’s basement. Now Collin has his hands full not only trying to convince his uncle that this might not be the work of homophobes, but also dealing with a fratful of brothers worried about their kegger fridge.

Paramedic Eric Dixon can’t stop thinking about the kid he met during a call at his former college fraternity house. The age gap between them is trumped by sexy eyes, so when Eric sees Collin again at the bomb scene, he pursues him. Soon, Eric is dreaming of being a househusband, fighting to keep Collin safe from whoever’s trying to destroy the fraternity, and helping his sweet young thang realize that repercussions sometimes have silver linings.
Eric and Collin's relationship reminded me of when I met my husband.  There's that moment when you see someone by chance and something clicks.  That click moment is the start of something amazing.  Collin and Eric may differ in age and experiences but they are two halves of one whole.  They work together really well.  Eric wants to find someone who is okay with his domestic side, someone who he can care for and who won't look down on him for what he wants.  Collin wants to find love like his friend Brad found.  He wants a match that can last.  They find it in each other and it is great.  I love how positive this series is so far.  Angst gets old quick and I prefer to avoid it so a super romantic story like this one is perfect for me.
