But when their arrangement is consummated, he'll experience pleasure far beyond his wildest fantasies-and realize his heart may need the most protection of all. What a fun read! This romance has so much going for it. You have a great guy who doesn't know what he's got himself into and a woman who can go toe to toe with him. I love that in a historical. There's also a fair amount of sub plot as they try to solve the mystery of the hidden treasure. The story is great and the characters are lovely. There are really no detractors from this one. It's an all around enjoyable read.
