My family is a family of comics junkies.  My nine year old son put on his About Me poster at school that his dream vacation is a trip to New York City Comic Con.  My daughter has a collection of Wonder Woman comics older than she is.  Our bathroom is Batman themed.  I have 9 comic boxes containing our comic collections in my bedroom.  We like our comics for sure.  Last spring at BEA I met Art Balthazar- he was SO nice!  Since then, we've read our way through his entire Tiny Titan collection and now we're working on the Super-Pets books that were recommended to us by our comic store guy.  I was so excited to see that a Super-Pets Encyclopedia was coming out this summer!  Thanks to Capstone Young Readers for providing this ARC through NetGalley.

This book is great!  I read it together with my kids and they had a great time with it!  They loved that it included some of their favorite heroes and pets from Super-Pets, Tiny Titans and all the DC Comics.  The art is typical of Art Baltazar's work- super fun and cute!  There are all kinds of cool backstories for the pets and even a section describing the comics cannon origins of some of the characters.  I think any child or adult would love to read this fun book!
