Countdown to RainbowCon Guest Post by Cat Grant!

Thanks to the lovely folks at Amethyst Daydreams for asking me to drop by!

The last few months have been kind of a whirlwind. In between moving last July, attending two conventions (Authors After Dark and GayRomLit), the holidays and finishing no fewer than three new books, you could definitely say I’ve been keeping busy. Today I’m here to talk to you about LA Witt’s and my latest Navy SEAL opus, The Only One Who Matters.

It’s been a real pleasure working with Lori. I’ve become picky about who I choose to write with, but thus far our collaboration has been wonderfully productive and relatively stress-free. Our voices mesh well, and we have a great time trying to yank the rug out from under each other.

Call it crazy, but it works. In fact, I’d call it a partnership that’s brought out the best in both of us.

At Rainbow Con, we’ll be premiering not only our two Navy SEAL books, but our first self-published collaboration, Guarded – a super-hot, super-kinky rock star/bodyguard romance. And I’ll be showing off the Samhain reprint of the first book in my new mixed-martial arts series, Black Dog.

I’ve never been to Tampa before, so I’m looking forward to visiting. That’s one of the great things about going to conventions – seeing new places. I remember visiting New Orleans for the first time at the first GRL back in 2011, and it quickly became one of my favorite spots.

The schedule of panels looks really intriguing – and as it turns out, I’m moderating the one called, “Eww! I Don't Like Those Bits!: Going Beyond Your Comfort Zone in Erotic Romance.” (Think my reputation’s preceded me? LOL!) I’m looking forward to the readings, book signings and other social events as well. I love meeting readers, especially when I have brand new books to show off.

And give away! Leave a comment below to be entered to win a copy of The Only One Who Matters.
Months after a bullet ended his SEAL career, Senior Chief David Flint doesn’t know which is worse: struggling to adjust to life as a civilian, or watching his lover, Lieutenant Commander Josh Walker, leave for one deployment after another.
Missing the career he loved—and knowing all too well the danger Josh faces—doesn’t help. And as Josh walks out the door for another assignment, David can feel their relationship cracking under the strain.
With so little time between assignments, Josh has no idea how to fix things with David. One thing he’s sure of, though…if they don’t find a way to resolve the rising tension between them, there’s a storm coming they might not be able to weather. But he plans to give it his best shot—when he gets home.
Assuming he makes it home alive…

When she’s not writing, you can usually find her watching movies or TV (Supernatural and The Vampire Diaries are among her favorite shows), singing along to her favorite band (30 Seconds to Mars), or fantasizing about kinky sex with Michael Fassbender and/or Jared Leto.
