The Joker's Dozen by Laurie S Sutton, Ethen Beavers

Our family are huge Batman Fans and we have some young readers so I was excited to share this book with my family. The Joker's Dozen is a choose your own adventure type book that I received through NetGalley in exchange for my honest review. Here is the cover and the Goodreads blurb:

The Joker transforms dozens of Gotham City citizens into laughing (and robbing) fools! Is the Dark Knight outnumbered, or can he even the odds? Should he use a Batarang or another high-tech weapon? Can the Caped Crusader save the city, or will the Clown Prince have the last laugh? In this interactive story, YOU CHOOSE the path Batman should take. With your help, he'll take down The Joker's Dozen!

I read this book with my three youngest readers (2 in first grade and 1 in second). They all loved the story and that they could choose what Batman would do. The art is bright and graphic very much in line with cartoons and comics of the Batman. The story is fast paced, full of action and it kept my young readers interest. All three kiddos finished the book in one sitting. They each said that the You Choose feature was the best part of the story. I enjoyed reading it with my kiddos and I will be on the look out for more You Choose Batman books!

You can click here to add The Joker's Dozen to your Goodreads. I give The Joker's Dozen 4 Fairies for a super fun read for young readers!
