The Succubus Diaries By Jill Myles

I recently won the first two books in the Succubus Diaries series by Jill Myles (both signed!). I'm sure you can tell from the titles that these are ADULT books. Gentlemen Prefer Succubi is the first book in which we meet Jackie, a self proclaimed: dumpy, unattractive and boring docent for the city museum. Jackie is a really great character because even though she starts out as the girl who is tormented by her female boss and rarely if ever gets any male attention, she still tries to stick up for herself. I like a female lead who is strong, even if she is flawed. GPS also introduces Noah. Ah, Noah. Noah is a fallen angel who inadvertently heps turn Jackie into a succubus. He is totally sweet and (of course) sexy but he can also be a little irritating. Towards the end of GPS we meet Zane, a vampire, who is dark mysterious and once again, sexy. Sensing the theme, yet??? In Jill's world Fallen Angels are forced to sleep during the night hours and Vampires (Angels who chose to keep their wings when they fell, who are "evil") must sleep in the daylight hours. I love that the vampires have black wings. Talk about yummy. It's like pouring magic shell on a bowl of chocolate ice cream. The wings make a sexy thing like vampires even better.

In Succubi Like It Hot, we see Jackie growing accustomed to her new life as a succubus. However, she still has her "morals" and is only dating/sleeping with Noah and Zane unlike her fellow succubus and friend, Remy. IN SLIH, Jackie and Remy go on a cross country road trip full of pitfalls and misadventures. Zane and Noah are both in and out of the story over the course of the book as Jackie tries to choose one over the other as the "good" and "evil" boys aren't sharing well. This book has far more adventure than the first but is still laugh out loud funny.

The next book in the Succubus Diaries Series, My Fair Succubi, drops on December 28th and while there is little mention of Zane on the Goodreads blurb, I for one can't wait to read this book. Jackie will face some big choices and you can bet she'll be just as smart and snarky as she was in the first two books. These books were quick, funny and sexy reads (but not overly dirty) that I would suggest for any adult looking for a good paranormal romance. You can check out Jill on Goodreads or on her website!!
