Mission to Read's YA GLBT Paranormal Challenge

Rie over at Mission to Read is hosting a mini-challenge!  You can read as little as one book to be qualified for the challenge and the giveaway in June for the challengers!! I agree with Rie that we're seeing more positive portrayals of gay teens on TV than we did in years past and we're just not really seeing it in YA books and especially in YA paranormal books.  Well, we see it in the supporting characters but not in the main protagonists.  I mean, it rocks that we have those characters like Alec and Magnus from the Mortal Instruments & Infernal Devices and Jack and Damian from House of Night, but there need to be books that GLBT teens can get into from a personal prospective.  I plan on reading Ash and Huntress by Malinda Lo for sure and I know of a handful of others I want to read.  So click your way on over to Mission to Read and check it out!!
