Wicked Lovely by Melissa Marr

This is a series that I have been wanting to start for a long time.  I love fairies and fairy lore so this series is perfect  for me.  Here's the Goodreads Blurb:

All teenagers have problems, but few of them can match those of Aislinn, who has the power to see faeries. Quite understandably, she wishes that she could share her friends' obliviousness and tries hard to avoid these invisible intruders. But one faery in particular refuses to leave her alone. Keenan the Summer King is convinced beyond all reasoning that Aislinn is the queen he has been seeking for nine centuries. What's a 21st-century girl to do when she's stalked by a suitor nobody else can see? A debut fantasy romance for the ages; superlative summer read.
I LOVE the feel of this book.  Melissa Marr takes fairies and brings them into the modern world.  They haunt our cities and towns, invisible to nearly everyone who is not fae themselves.  Aislinn's world has a very cool urban and industrial feel with the fairies a large part of it.  I enjoyed every moment of this story and cannot wait to read Ink Exchange (which is sitting on top of my To Be Read pile!).  This story is anything but typical and Melissa Marr will keep you on the edge of your seat until the very end.  The ending alone will blow your mind.  I don't want to give too much away but the fairy world of Wicked Lovely is amazing.  It feels equally magical and realistic.  You really feel like it could be a world that you could live in.  The characters are special.  You really feel for each and every one of them.  Well, except for Keenan's mom.... she has ISSUES.  But Keenan, Seth and Aislinn are just delightful characters who draw you into their lives and keep you invested until the end.

I would suggest this one for readers over 14 as there are some sexual references but nothing graphic.  There are also scenes of violence which may be a bit much for younger readers.  This series is one that everyone should try!  You can find out more about the Wicked Lovely Series and Melissa Marr by checking out her website or following her on Twitter.  You can click here to add the series to your Goodreads! Melissa also has an amazing new book out called Graveminder.  You can add it to your Goodreads here.  AND Melissa Marr has a short story from later in the Wicked Lovely series in the YA Paranormal Anthology Enthralled.  You can click here to add it to your Goodreads!

Wicked Lovely gets 4 Fairies for sexy Seth, uh- fairies, and for the a cool modern fairy world.

Love your review! I always feel really alone in my adoration for this series. I totally agree with what you said about the book having an urban feel to it and I liked how that contrasted with the ethereal Fae world. If you loved Seth, you'll definitely enjoy Fragile Eternity. :)
