A Million Suns (Across the Universe #2) by Beth Revis

I love Beth Revis and the world that she introduced us to in Across the Universe.  In A Million Suns, we watch as more lies unravel and we see what happens when the lies give way to truth and chaos.  Here is the Goodreads blurb:

Godspeed was fueled by lies. Now it is ruled by chaos.
It's been three months since Amy was unplugged. The life she always knew is over. And everywhere she looks, she sees the walls of the spaceship Godspeed. But there may just be hope: Elder has assumed leadership of the ship. He's finally free to enact his vision - no more Phydus, no more lies.

But when Elder discovers shocking news about the ship, he and Amy race to discover the truth behind life on Godspeed. They must work together to unlock a puzzle that was set in motion hundreds of years earlier, unable to fight the romance that's growing between them and the chaos that threatens to tear them apart.

In book two of the Across the Universe trilogy, New York Times bestselling author Beth Revis mesmerizes us again with a brilliantly crafted mystery filled with action, suspense, romance, and deep philosophical questions. And this time it all builds to one mind-bending conclusion: They have to get off this ship.
We're one month out from the release of A Million Suns.  I'm really excited for it.  I loved Across the Universe and A Million Suns is even better.  A Million Suns continues to bring mysteries and questions about the Godspeed and those aboard it.  As Beth Revis has said, some of the things that we learned in Across the Universe were LIES.  We also see the ship turn to chaos as everyone adjusts to life without the Phydus.  A Million Suns really brings to light the big questions about humanity and society.  Does Godspeed really need Phydus to function?  Will Amy ever give in to her burgeoning feelings for Elder (she totally should- he's adorable!) and will they ever get to Centauri Earth?  This action packed sequel to Across the Universe delivers plenty of drama and suspense.  This is definitely a Best I've Read worthy book.

A Million Suns will release in the US on January 10, 2012.  Go pre-order yours now!  This book is appropriate for readers 14 and older as there is some violence and some sexual references.  This is a must read, though!  You can click here to add it to your Goodreads.  You can also check out Beth Revis on her website and on Twitter.

A Million Suns earns 5 Fairies for being made of awesome.
