This is the second book in the Lorien Legacies series.  I really enjoyed I Am Number Four and was so excited to read this one!  Here is the Goodreads blurb:

This was a great sequel to the first book.  We get to see the story from more points of view and we get to see more about the others that John Smith is trying to find.  The book bounces around between perspectives and is fast paced with lots of action.  I really can't wait for the next book.  This book is appropriate for readers 14 and up due to violence.  You can find out more about the series by visiting the series website.  You can add this book to your Goodreads by clicking here.
