Honored Vow (Change of Heart #3) by Mary Calmes

Honored Vow is the third book in the Change of Heart series.  Here's the Goodreads blurb:

Jin Rayne is still growing into his frightening new powers as a nekhene cat and his place as reah of Logan Church’s tribe when he learns that a sepat, an honor challenge, has been called. Logan, who has never wanted to do anything but lead his small-town tribe, must travel around the world to Mongolia and fight to become the most powerful leader in the werepanther world. Logan won’t be the only one making the journey. As his mate, Jin must fight with him to honor his commitment to Logan, his culture, and his tribe. But the trial is long, involving a prolonged separation between the two men, and Logan’s humanity is at stake. In order to make it through the nightmarish sepat, Jin and Logan must accept their fates, trust each other, and honor the vows between them no matter the cost.
Honored Vow is the final book in Logan and Jin's story and it takes the reader a world away to the sepat in frigid Mongolia where everyone's lives hang in the balance.  It's a dark, edgy and highly emotional book.  I chewed my nails and cried tears of joy for Jin and Logan.  The reader feels ever emotion that Jin does as they read this book.  It's amazing.  Mary Calmes does a lovely job of making you feel what the characters feel.  Again, the love that they have for each other and the sense of longing that they have for each other just pours off of the page and straight into your heart.  We also get a fair amount of Domin and Yuri in this story as well and that's pretty emotional in it's own right.  I can't even begin to discuss all of the great characters in this book.  Every one of them is interesting and well developed.  There is plenty of blood, sex, love, courage and strength in this book.  It was amazing.  Easily on the top ten of adult paranormal that I've ever read.

You can find Mary Calmes on her blog and you can find all of her books on her author page at Dreamspinner Press.  You can click here to find the series on Goodreads.  Honored Vow earns 5 Fairies for a captivating book that had me biting my nails and crying tears of joy.
