Wolfsbane (Nightshade #2) by Andrea Cremer

I read Nightshade when it first came out and loved it.  I couldn't stand the thought of having to wait after each of the books came out to see what happened next, so I waited until after Bloodrose came out to finish the series.  Lame, I know but there it is.

When Calla Tor wakes up in the lair of the Searchers, her sworn enemies, she's certain her days are numbered. But then the Searchers make her an offer, one that gives her the chance to destroy her former masters and save the pack and the man she left behind. Is Ren worth the price of her freedom? And will Shay stand by her side no matter what? Now in control of her own destiny, Calla must decide which battles are worth fighting and how many trials true love can endure and still survive.
This book has so much action in it.  Calla deals with the searchers and her guilt over leaving her pack behind.  This book reminds us all that Calla is a strong woman who can stand on her own two feet.  Calla feeling torn between Ren and Shay was aggravating of course but knowing there is one more book, I was prepared for that going into it. Andrea Cremer writes some amazing action scenes and she brings in some great characters who will grab your heart and drag you down with them.  Everyone should read this book- men, women, boys and girls.  Teens and adults.  What a great  series!!

You can click here to add the Nightshade series to your Goodreads.  Andrea Cremer can be found on her website and on Twitter.  You can like the Nightshade series on Facebook and check out the dedicated series website!  I give Wolfsbane 4 Fairies for an exciting read with a great female main character and a male lead who is not threatened by a strong woman.
