I really loved that you could get a real understanding of each of the characters because they are so real that they just grab you and draw you into their stories. It was also nice to see that gender roles were mixed up a bit for the characters. Each pair did not have one "husband" and one "wife." Everyone just is who they are and they use their talents and skills to keep the family, household and pack running smoothly. Love it. I think Patrick's story was the most emotional to read. He and Jake were just so raw and tortured by being kept apart. These stories are not just sex for the sake of sex either, there are interesting stories in each book and they all work together into a whole series. I really enjoyed these. I love a good quick novella in between longer books. It keeps me going so that I don't succumb to a reading rut. I have actually read these more than once through since buying them. Highly recommended.
